Pokemon: The First Movie! [Mewtwo Strikes Back]
The First ever Pokemon movie; Mewtwo Strikes Back was released in America in 1999. The movie stared the basic Pokemon team; Ash and all of his friends and their Pokemon.
The movie is basically about Ash Ketchum and his friends; and how they get tricked to coming to this island called New Island.
The Island is run by Mewtwo, the mysterious and powerful legendary Pokemon. Mewtwo is an enhanced cloned Pokemon from Mew that Giovanni [the leader of team rocket] created.
Once Ash and his friends arrive at the island they are greeted by 3 other Pokemon trainers and Nurse Joy who is hypnotised by Mewtwo's Psychic.
Team Rocket are also in the movie, the follow Ash and his friends to the island but they go a different way; the find the cloning station.
The whilst they are looking at everything, Meowth clones himself by accident in the special cloning machine.
Towards the end of the movie all of the Pokemon featured in this movie get cloned and start having a massive fight and begin to battle.
Pikachu gets slapped to death by his clone; this is the sad part of the movie.
I'll leave the rest for you to find out because I don't want to spoil the movie for ya ;]
This movie is both happy, funny, dramatic and sad. I'd recommend this movie for kids, or for anyone who enjoys a good cartoon movie 8D
