Gold and Silver Version was the second generation of Pokemon. Based in an all new region, Jhoto Region there have been an addition in Pokemon.
99 New Pokemon were added in this generation, giving a total of 251 Pokemon to the game series.
There were 3 brand new starters introduced in this game, Cyndaquil, Chikorita and Totodile. In this game there was also a new addition of 6 new Legendary Pokemon.
The two main ones; Ho-Oh and Lugia, the legendary trio, Entei, Suicune and Raiku and the lucky exclusive event Pokemon; Celebi.
The legendary trio this time round was not birds, they were mystical dogs with the power of Fire, Water and Electric.
Your character in this game was a boy, it was the only option back then.
There are many new additions to this game such as new TM's & HM's such as Headbutt; You can headbutt trees and make Pokemon fall out. Very cool I must say!
There are also some very awesome items such as acorns and berries [this game has some items that are in Ruby and Sapphire].
During your adventure it follows the basic structure of Story mode, then once you've defeated the league
story mode ends and here comes the extra game stuff. But as you journey through this lovely long adventure you encounter many new kinds of Pokemon, trainers, gym leaders and more.
This game is action packed with fun so its all ready for you to go and play!
