Fading checker board design
OK, so I am gonna tell you how to get a checker board effect on your banners etc.
First, you get your banner/ whatever you want and colour in the background if you want a coloured background. Zoom into 800% and press CTRL + G to get the grid. This will help you.

Next, you choose a colour e.g pink and you use the brush at it's biggist square size. You start with the darkest shade of the colour at the top, leaving a square in between each coloured square.
Then, you move onto a lighter shade of colour so you go onto; Colours>>Edit colours and click onto Define Custom Colours and you choose a lighter shade of your colour squares.
Keep repeating this step until you have filled up the space you wanted to have the squares is filled up, remembering to leave a space between each square.
